Isn’t it funny how we can often miss out on the wonders in our own backyard? I feel that since I live in Boston, I often overlook what this great city has to offer. Case in point, I have never stepped foot in the Gardner Museum until a couple of months ago! After viewing numerous Instagram pics of the court, I knew that I had to make a trip there.
Every month, the Museum hosts Third Thursday. I was delighted when my friend, Megan, invited me a couple of months back!
Each Third Thursday event has a theme and the theme at April event was Fashion Forward-right up my alley!
In addition to the regular museum offerings, there was live music, a fashion show and a fun printmaking workshop! I always love being able to revert back to childhood with some arts and crafts!

The next Third Thursday event is this Thursday, June 16, but is already sold out! These events are quite popular. No worries-there are still tickets available for the July Third Thursday on July 21. The theme is Abroad. Tickets are $5 for students and $15 for adults-well worth it for a cultural and fun evening out!
