Birthday Celebration Roundup

Blowing out Birthday candles

In my last post, I listed what I am most excited about this month; last week was my birthday. On Tuesday, I went to Maggiano’s Little Italy with some friends. I had never been before and I definitely recommend it! My friends were nice enough to order me a birthday dessert and the staff sent me off with some delicious lemon cookies.

On my actual birthday, I went to Besito at the Chestnut Hill Mall with my family and good friend, Caroline. I went there last year on my birthday, too. It is by far the best Mexican food in the area. I love Mexican food and would love to try Loco, in Southie. Any other Mexican restaurants in the area that you suggest?

Birthday flowers

Thank you for the birthday flowers, Mel and Gemma

I was really surprised and touched by how many of my friends remembered my birthday. It was definitely an exciting week. As for big goals this year? As mentioned in my holiday roundup, I tend to not make yearly goals and set little ones instead. Twenty-six doesn’t really bring any big perks, except maybe being able to rent a car?

What was your favorite age/year?
