Happy March! This month’s segment is a bit late, due to pain I’ve had the last couple of weeks, as a result of my PAO surgery that I had back in October (it’s been a looooooooooonnngg recovery process). Some of my favorite February memories: my Birthday, my Galentine’s Day party, seeing How to Be Single with my friend Jenny, looking forward to The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story every week and binge watching Fuller House last weekend (overall, thumbs up!)
Here is what I am looking forward to this month:
- Spring: March 20 marks the first day of Spring. Given my surgery (snow+crutches=potential disaster) and last year’s Snowmageddon, I was worried what this winter would bring. Thankfully, this winter has not been too brutal. Yes, Taylor, I think we are out of the woods. . . The days are already getting longer and the rest of this week is supposed to be warm. Spring is in sight!
- Easter: Last year I didn’t make it to celebrate Easter Sunday with my family in the Cape, because I was a little under the weather. I haven’t been to visit my parents (or cockapoo, Penny) since Christmas, so Easter will be a good excuse to do so. Furthermore, I was perusing Pinterest the other day, and came across The Salted Cookie’s Cadbury Mini Egg Chocolate Coconut Cookie recipe. Given that I am trying to be more of a cook/baker, I look forward to cooking up some Easter goodies like these delectables!
- My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2: I seldom go to the movies, and when I saw How to be Single this past month, I realized how much fun the whole experience is (especially if you go to the SuperLux!) Remember when My Big Fat Greek Wedding came out over ten years ago? Actress and writer Nia Vardalos, who was pretty much unknown at the time found critical acclaim for this hilarious take on a large Greek family’s approach to daughter Toula’s upcoming nuptials. This movie was great for the entire family. I hope the sequel lives up to the first one!
What are you looking forward to most during March?
